Setlist Lab is a mobile app for working musicians. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We've written it in plain English on purpose.
When you create an account, we collect your email address. That's the only personal information we ask for.
Once you're using the app, we store the data you create: your song catalog (titles, artists, keys, lyrics, notes, and energy ratings) and your setlists. This data lives in your account and is only accessible to you.
We do not collect your location, contacts, microphone data, or any information from your device beyond what's needed to run the app.
Your email address is used to authenticate your account and send you transactional messages (like password resets). We don't send marketing emails.
Your song and setlist data is used solely to power the app for you. We don't analyze it, sell it, or use it for any purpose other than making the app work.
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run Setlist Lab:
Supabase handles our database and user authentication. Your account credentials and app data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure.
Anthropic powers the AI setlist builder. When you use the "Build It For Me" feature, song titles and metadata from your catalog are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a setlist suggestion. No personal information — no email, no name, no account details — is included in these requests.
Stripe handles payment processing. When you subscribe, your payment details go directly to Stripe. We never see or store your credit card information.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you want your account and all associated data deleted, email us at support@thesetlistlab.com and we'll take care of it.
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest via Supabase's infrastructure. We don't store passwords in plaintext — authentication is handled securely through Supabase Auth.
Setlist Lab is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
